Barbara Voigt
As Managing Director, Barbara Voigt founded Voigt & Associates, Inc. in early 2005 to help companies build winning teams that last. The firm has quickly established itself as a preferred vendor for Fortune 100 technology companies and specializes in the recruitment of sales and technical positions.
As Managing Director, Barbara Voigt founded Voigt & Associates, Inc. in early 2005 to help companies build winning teams that last. The firm has quickly established itself as a preferred vendor for Fortune 100 technology companies and specializes in the recruitment of sales and technical positions.
Prior to building Voigt & Associates, Barbara spent twenty-two years in the technology field fast tracking from an individual contributor sales role to Vice President level positions. She started her career with MCI and advanced through four promotions to a Senior Manager role. Subsequently, Barbara spent two years in Europe with a computer peripheral start up. She returned to the U.S. and joined SkyTel as the Regional Director and later General Manager to help re-engineer the sales force into wireless. WinStar recruited Barbara as a General Manager and she became the Regional Vice President a year later opening nine new markets for them. In her last corporate role, Barbara was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Epoch Networks, now Megapath.
Barbara’s experience in starts ups, turnarounds and growth companies in both small and large corporate environments provide a solid foundation for relating to other stakeholders. Having recruited hundreds of people, she is well aware of what it takes to source, attract and retain top talent.
