Prior to building Voigt & Associates, Barbara spent twenty-two years in the technology field fast tracking from an individual contributor sales role to Vice President level positions. She started her career with MCI and advanced through four promotions to a Senior Manager role. Subsequently, Barbara spent two years in Europe with a computer peripheral start up. She returned to the U.S. and joined SkyTel as the Regional Director and later General Manager to help re-engineer the sales force into wireless. WinStar recruited Barbara as a General Manager and she became the Regional Vice President a year later opening nine new markets for them. In her last corporate role, Barbara was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Epoch Networks, now Megapath.

Jim comes to recruiting after a very successful 25 year career in senior management positions in the Airline and Communications industries where he built and managed cross functional teams of up to 200 people. After to MCI, Jim was the General Manager of SkyTel over half of the United States, the first two way wireless company in the United States.

James Leonard joins Voigt & Associates to lead technical engagements that require operations and engineering expertise. James has a successful background in Operations leading companies through turnarounds, rapid growth and new business ventures.
James most recently has owned a management consulting business where he accomplished numerous projects critical to the successful launch of a new company. Previously, he was challenged with turnaround Operations assignments at both XO Communications and WinStar where he held Regional Vice President roles. Prior to that, as a Vice President of Operations for MCI Telecommunications, James distinguished himself by turning around low performing organizations by significant improving employee morale, productivity, customer satisfaction, cost containment and ultimately, performance. Heather McErlain joined Voigt & Associates in 2006 as our Chief Administrative Officer. She has been instrumental in overseeing our most valued asset – our data base of candidates and clients. She coordinates all job requisition activity and works closely with associates, candidates and clients to facilitate a well-organized and OFCCP compliant environment.
Heather had a very successful fifteen year career with the Orange County Superior Court in Newport Beach, CA. She managed a very busy criminal courtroom for a prominent judge and was his immediate liaison with the public, media, and a wide variety of professionals in the law enforcement, legal and judicial systems. Heather frequently mediated disputes and was required to act as a problem solver and negotiate win-win situations for all.

Tracy Powell-Rudy comes to Voigt with twenty years of technology and telecommunications industry experience having served in both management and staff positions. Tracy has a broad knowledge base with a background in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Project Management, and Operations. Much of her corporate life was spent with MCI Telecommunications, and Tracy was most recently a Vice President with a boutique retained executive search firm.
Tracy has experience in starting and running a national organization as well as managing quota-bearing, smaller regional and branch-based sales support and implementation teams.
